Playtri Dallas F1 Youth Development Program - March 31st-June 2nd
INFO MEETING March 24th, 5:00 PM, Playtri Performance Center
Official Program Schedule Now Available - Click Here to View!
The USA Triathlon F1 Races are coming to Dallas this June!
Local youth athletes (race age 12-16) have the opportunity to race in a draft-legal format on a nationally competitive level right here in Dallas.
Learn what draft-legal racing is all about!
Draft-legal race strategy and preparation is entirely different from the traditional non-draft-legal racing that American age groupers participate in, and athletes hoping to compete at this event will need to be prepared for a different style and intensity of racing than they are currently used to.
Playtri has created a two month program
...designed specifically for these athletes with intensive practice and education that will prepare them to compete in June's event. The program will increase athletes' physical capacities in all three events, and will teach:
- Open water swim technique and strategy
- Lightning fast transitions
- How to ride safely and effectively in a peloton
- Run strategies for short course racing
- Pacing and attacking
- Mental strategies for competition
- ITU rules and regulations for racing
