Playtri Festival Group Training


What
A Triathlon Group Training Program targeting any athlete desiring to complete the following races at the Festival: My First Tri, Sprint, and Olympic. The program accommodates all levels including the beginner signing up for the My First Tri all the way to the athlete with a season under his/her belt looking to win 1st place in age group. (See the “Testimonials” section for more on this)

Q&A/Information Session

  • Wed., March 17th at  6pm at Luke’s Locker Colleyville ( 5505 Colleyville Blvd. Suite 120 , Colleyville , TX 76034)

When

  • Program Start Date to End date:  April 5 – June 6, 2010
  • Weekly Training Sessions:
    • Swim – TBD
    • Run – Thursdays at 6pm
    • Bike – Saturdays at 9am
  • Open Water Swims:
    • TBD

Where

  • Swim:
    • Pool swims -  Southlake Natatorium
    • Open water clinics – Lynn Creek Park at Joe Pool Lake (5700 Lake Ridge Pkwy) or Lake Grapevine (Meadowmere Park)
  • Run:
    • Cross Timbers Junior High in Grapevine at the corner of Pool Road and Grapevine Hwy.
  • Bike:
    • Lake Grapevine area (Meadowmere Park)

Clinics & Lectures

  • Two open water swim clinics
  • Flat Tire Change Clinic
  • Transition Clinic
  • Lectures on various triathlon-related topics

Eligibility - The minimum age to participate is 13. The right to accept or reject any entry is reserved.
Refund Policy
No refunds or transfers allowed.
USAT Membership
USAT membership will be required. Each participant will be required to submit current USAT annual membership verification.    
Benefiting Charity
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Texas Bikes for Tykes.
