Course

7 – 10 yrs old:  100 meter pool swim – 2.5 mile bike  – 0.5mi run

11-14 yrs old:  200 meter pool swim – 5 mile bike (2 loops) – 1mi run

Transition will be open from 6:30am – 8:00am. 

Bike and Run course maps will be available by May 15th.

USAT Membership

The Trick or Treat Triathlon is a USAT sanctioned event. All participants must be a current annual member of USAT or purchase an annual youth license for $5 at packet pick up. Do not send USAT permit fee with paper entry fee.

All established USAT rules will be in effect and will be strictly enforced. You must show your child’s USAT member card and your photo ID at packet pick up - no exceptions. Parents or legal guardians may pick up children’s packet.  Child does not have to be with parent or legal guardian.   If your child is an annual USAT member and you do not bring the member card to packet pick up, you must buy another $5 annual membership. No exceptions.

 

 

Awards and Amenities

All finisher’s will receive a finisher’s medal. All participants who pick up their packet will receive a goodie bag and t-shirt. Only those participants registered by October 1st are guaranteed a t-shirt.

 

 

Benefiting Charity

^

Girls in Motion is a not for profit that trains college age women to mentor preadolescent girls with the goals of promoting positive body image and preventing obesity and eating disorders through mentorship, education and fitness.

Many volunteers from numerous North Texas civic organizations are committed to make your race a safe and memorable experience.

 

 

Weather / Water Temp

^

Average temperature on race day: low 75 - high 95.

For safety reasons, Playtri reserves the right to modify or cancel a race due to severe weather conditions. When severe weather is present, all precautions will be made to ensure the safety of the athletes.

 

 

Chip Timing by Run-Far

^

This is a chip timed event. Each participant will be required to wear a timing chip in order to be counted in the results. Timing chips are assigned to participants according to bib number. Please pick up your timing chip the morning of the race at the chip timing station beginning an hour before race start. ALL TIMING CHIPS SHOULD BE RETURNED AFTER YOU CROSS THE FINISH LINE. A $30.00 fee will be charged to the participant if the timing chip is not returned. Awards are based on chip times.
