Playtri Las Vegas 70.3 Camp :: June 7-10, 2012:: Lake Las Vegas, Nevada

Come spend three and a half (3.5) days training on the Ironman World Championship 70.3 course by beautiful Lake Las Vegas in Henderson, NV while attending training, racing and nutrition seminars.  Swimming will be done in Lake Mead, cycling on the course through the breathtakingly beautiful Mead National Recreational Area and running on the 70.3 course on the residential streets of Henderson, NV.

The camp is an excellent opportunity for triathletes who want to build a strong knowledge base for the upcoming World Championship or any other 70.3 course and desire more personal one on one time in a camp setting.  This camp is designed for athletes of all abilities – from the beginner wanting to have an athletic vacation to the serious triathlete looking for some hard core training.

Athlete Fitness

This camp is designed to meet the needs of the beginner to the experienced triathlete.

The rides will be between 10–56 miles, the runs will be from 3–13 miles, and the swims between 1,000 meters–1.2 miles, with the distance being your decision.

The minimum amount of each distance you should be able to do for each sport in order to attend the camp are as follows:

• Swim: 1500 meters
• Bike: 10 miles
• Run: 3 miles

Camp Support

Support and sag will be provided on the swim, bike and run courses.

USAT Membership

The camp will be USAT sanctioned. You must be a USAT annual member or purchase a one day membership to participate in the camp. A one day membership can be purchased at the athlete check-in on Thursday in Lake Las Vegas, NV.

Travel Information

You will need to arrive at the McCarren International Airport (LAS) by Thursday at noon.  McCarren is served by most major U.S. airlines.  We recommend a rental car.
