About Scott
Scott's always been the creative type who loves taking on challenges. As a child he frequently could be found at the Thruston Summer Series, held at Bachman Lake. His parents, former Boston Marathoners, often helped as timekeepers, and Scott was either racing or pulling bib numbers at the finish line. This eventually led into him racing in KidSport Triathlons.
After taking a hiatus from endurance sport endeavors to pursue a professional career as a Chef, Scott found his way back to Triathlon in 2010 when he signed up for his first Olympic Triathlon. Working in a time intensive field he understands the difficulties to balancing the responsibilities of life with training.
As a Chef, Scott has had the opportunity to lead some of the top kitchens in the country. Being the best coach and mentor he can be is a driving force, and has led him to take the jump in Triathlon from athlete to coach. Scott loves to set goals, and see the incremental progress that ultimately achieves that goal. Both in the kitchen and in Triathlon, he loves to help guide people towards the achievement of their goals, while having the understanding of what it’s like to have to train around a busy schedule.
